"Logic will get you from A-Z; imagination will get you everywhere" the famous quote by Albert Einstein reminds us that without imagination there would be no creation. Tegu toys remind us not to expand our imagination but to expand our hearts in Charity. Recently, I was able to review one of Tegu's Pocket Pouch Prisms with my daughter and they had an exceptionally good time arranging and rearranging these simple magnetic wooden blocks. My youngest daughter and I began playing a game where I would build a design and she would need to mimic the design. My daughter is developmentally delayed and works daily on her developing skills including Occupational Therapy to improve her hand eye coordination and use of fingers and these blocks added one more fun therapy for her.
Once we were done playing I sat the kids down and told them the story behind Tegu and the social responsibility this company has chosen to take. My children have grown in a home that recognizes that it is everyone's obligation on this planet to be socially responsible and are always looking for businesses that share the same ideology. Tegu Blocks are you manufactured in Hondorus- a country that is stricken with unemployment and poverty. A country that is thriving with sustainable resources like tropical hardwoods. To date through Tegu's philanthropy they have planted 34,512 trees and helping 200 students receive schooling for 3,326 days! To hear more about their awesome story click HERE.
As always I recommend becoming a fan of Tegu on Facebook as well a following them on Twitter. You can purchase Tegu's directly from their site HERE or help them in their mission by donating money to their great causes.
