Sometimes I think I have the dream job and this is one of those times~ I mean come on what woman doesn't want to review an awesome pair of clogs?!? I was so excited to receive my very own pair of Sandgrens clogs (formally Ugglebo) that I waited less than impatiently for them to come! Probably because one of my fondest childhood memories was when my cousin Judy gave me a pair of clogs that she no longer could fit into! I swear I wore those clogs every day and every night~ they were my first healed shoes! I felt mature and glamorous in those shoes and thus began my shoe obsession. Unfortunately, not so fond childhood memories of me breaking my ankle and feet overshadowed my beloved memory of my clogs and ended a short lived high heel obsession. Unfortunately, due to my breaking and re~breaking of my feet is impossible for me to wear high heel shoes but I have found a compromise with lower and wider healed shoes and that is why I was excited to review these clogs.
I chose the Minsk Clog in Grey to review because of the unique and intricate weaving on the top of the shoe as well as the medium high wood heal. I loved the fact that I could wear these with a simple jean or dress them up with a skirt. I loved the detail of the brass nail heads which fastened the soft leather to the wooden heal~ it made the shoe become more modern and funky looking compared to normal clogs.
I was told to be weary of wearing clogs for a long period of time the first few times you wear them so I would wear them around the house a little at a time. The clogs were a little on the small side but in all fairness they do warn you that the sizes do run small and order consciously. My oldest daughter is obsessed with them and when I can find them it's a fight to keep them.
Since I have received these clogs I have received so many compliments on them. They are super simple to wear~ you just slide them on! They work perfectly with blue jeans or with a nice pair of slacks so you can wear them almost daily if you wanted to! I recommend anyone that loves shoes to order a pair of these well made Swedish Clogs!
Sandgrens Clogs can be purchased from their on-line store prices range from $49.00 and up (The Minsk that I reviewed were $139.00). For new product announcements, specials, and up to date news follow Sandgrens Clogs on Facebook and Twitter.
